Hiii deviantart! I know its been a hot minute but I'm doing great, still drawing but not posting it as much but, since I recently got medibang that'll change for sure. I've been in college for a while, cyber security but, gonna switch majors to something in the veterinarian field. I don't constantly draw just lions anymore, but I still draw em, in moderation because lion addiction. I'm obsessed with the video game Overwatch and have beeeen, I play that a crap ton (xbox and pc) so if any of you want my battletag, gimme that pm.
Watched the movie, so I decided, why not write a review? X3 I saw the movie last night and would gladly say it was very good! A lot of the clips were already shown online so most of the movie was shown online, which does kinda stink but eh. What can you do? I adored the music in the movie! The song, "Tonight We Strike" was honestly my favorite. It's so catchy and gets stuck in your head very easily. I adored how they incorporated swahili in the movie, that was brilliant. So when it comes to the animaiton. It seemed waaaay wonkie to be honest and a very different, but, the backgrounds in the movie were actually VERY good, but yes other than the wonkiness I found the movie enjoyable. I think the bit of Scar's past being shown as a painting like sequence was great, very nice story telling! It was a bit odd that disney would incorporate magic in the lion guard in the first place, but this is Disney and it's for little kids so. Makes sense. Now to the plot holes, A LOT, of people have been commenting on it and so on. One of the plot holes is, "Why is Kiara a cub and Where's Kovu?" At first I kinda agreed with this situation but, if we go back and think. If this entire timeline happened after the We Are One song and a good bit before Kiara's first hunt, it could make sense. Still a HUGE plot hole of, "Why did they never mention Kion?" but, hey. Maybe that'll be answered in the Tv series. Who even knows. But, you could also consider the entire movie a AU which would definitely help with the plot hole situation.
Also something that kinda bothered me a tiny bit was well, the whole movie was only a hour long, so to me I felt the continuity of the movie felt kinda off, but the entire movie was really only a hour so, meh. I'm fine with it really in the end. So in the end the day, highest points of the movies were definitely the songs and music. I'd give the movie 4 out of 5 stars, it's not the best movie in the world, but it certainly isn't the worst. I'd give it a watch if you haven't seen it. I'm back from my hiatus, and during it I tried my best to finish my scripts for my TLK comics and learn to draw a bit better on top of it! I may start submitting character head shots of the designs for my comics. Also I havn't been just drawing lions, I also am going to be sharing more drawings of humans on top of this, because recently I had a dream and well, the dream inspired me so much that I'm going to make a comic of that too, so I've been writing 3 comics. Yippe, but currently I'm taking a break from writing and am going to be submitting my art here a LOT more. So yeah. Glad to be back.
So some of you may have realized i have not been uploading much. Their is a reason for that, I am currently on Hiatus from Deviantart. I won't be posting my drawing much here right now. I'm currently writing my lion king scripts. I currently have to write 2 comics? But yeah the comics will tie in together. So yey. I may do some Hetalia drawing and cosplay and post them here and there, but i am really devoted to my comic. So, you won't hear from me for a while.
